Khloe Kardashian is the most vocal campaigner against bullying of the Kardashian sisters. There is a reason to her passion for the cause, and that's knowing what it feels to be bullied and hated for your looks, she says in a new interview.

Speaking with E! News, Khloe recalls her bullied past and points out that people still focus on her as the ugly duckling of the family.

She knows she's not like her sisters Kim and Kourtney because she's curvier and considerably taller. She also knows that her weight fluctuates a lot and that this is an uncommon sight (to say the least) in showbiz.

However, she's long decided not to pay attention to haters anymore. As far as she's concerned, she knows she's a wonderful human being and that's all that matters.

“I was called fat all the time. I’ve always been compared to my sisters, who are beautiful and who have always been,” Khloe says, recalling her younger years.

“I feel like I was so attacked. [I was picked on because] I had to wear braces, I was overweight as a kid, just for no reason,” she adds.

Today too, Khloe is constantly compared to her sisters and her weight remains tabloid fodder. In the blogosphere, some very nasty things are wrote about her on a daily basis.

Khloe has heard some of them. “I’m called the fat sister… I’m called the ugliest Kardashian,” she says.

Luckily, she is no longer listening to the whispers because she knows skin is more than skin deep.

“I’m proud of myself. I could break and go get all this plastic surgery and get my nose fixed and get lipo or do whatever, but I haven’t chosen to do that because I know I’m a great person. I’m pretty damn hot, if you ask me,” she says with resolution.
