Khloe Kardashian is ready to welcome the New Year. Gracing the cover of UK edition of Cosmopolitan, the Kardashian that had to go through a divorce this year looks happy and smiling while a title reads “I refused to get a nose job.”

After having just finalized her painful divorce from NBA star Lamar Odom, Khloe is in certain need of a new year.

“I love the new year, new beginnings” she told the mag. “I need a good fresh start; I'm excited for this year to be over with. You only live once so let's make that one time perfect. We can't fix out mistakes and imperfections, so let's have fun. You get what you give out of life.”

Apart from literally enumerating every cheesy quote that can be found out there in her cover story for Cosmo, Khloe does seem to have grown from her bitter divorce experience. While her sister Kim was enjoying a new engagement, a pregnancy and then a baby, 2013 brought nothing but heartache for Khloe.

But does that bother her? Apparently not, “I don't regret anything about my life” she goes on. “My life has made me who I am at this moment, and I'm very happy with who I am. No matter if it's great, disgusting, beautiful or ugly; it happens and it makes you you. Life is about how you process things.”

That incredible self-esteem is explained to us from her recent 30-pound (13.6kg) weight loss, one of the things she's proudest of in 2013. This leads to the whole reason Cosmo put that nose job thing on the cover.

Apparently, when she was nine, Khloe overheard her mom she needed a nose job. Khloe decided against it, despite the advice of several make-up artists in the industry.
