14 DAY TRIAL // Khloe Kardashian tries an entirely different look in the latest issue of YRB magazine, rocking some pretty interesting headgear, red hair and haute couture outfits. The spread comes accompanied by an interview conducted by none other than gossip blogger Perez Hilton.
The shoot took place before Khloe went red (she’s back to black now again); actually, she says on her official blog, it was precisely what convinced her she should give red hair a try.
“It’s so different from anything I’ve ever done, which was what made the shoot so fun for me! YRB is known for being very wild and crazy with the content they publish, so I jumped at the chance to work with them!” Khloe gushes.
“I love experimenting with different looks and this was the perfect opportunity for me to do that,” she adds. Indeed, the shots, all taken by photographer Mike Ruiz are miles away from Khloe’s previous work.
Though in some pics, the reality star bears a striking resemblance to pop star Rihanna, mostly because of the ‘do and the attitude, the reaction from Khloe’s fans has been nothing short of amazing.
The same goes for the interview, in which the star talks about living live in the public eye, media attention, misconceptions about her and whether she keeps up to date with gossip on her personal life.
“When people meet me they normally have three things to say. ‘Wow you are so tiny. You aren’t fat! Ok…’ Weird, but thanks, I guess? ‘You are so sweet!’ ‘You aren’t that tall!’ Everyone that I meet thinks I should be 6’3”,” Khloe explains.
She’s always been singled out as the largest of the Kardashians but that’s not necessarily because she’s that big: the others are simply very tiny.
“So funny, but I guess compared to Kourt and Kim I look super tall. I’m 5’10” and they are about 5’0” and 5’2” so I do look tall. I’m really just normal and they are tiny little girls,” she explains.
