Since flash drives are often the key to having one's important data on one's person at all times, Green house decided it would shape its newest ones like keys themselves, leading to the creation of the GH-UFD4GKYS and GH-UFD4GKYG.

As end-users know, the USB 3.0 SuperSpeed standard has been making a strong push, being implemented in more and more flashd rives and solid state drives, among other things.

Nevertheless, it is still quite far from becoming mainstream, so Green House did not bother adding it to its newest devices, settling, instead, for making them as compact and versatile as possible withing the intended, affordable price point.

Thus it came to pass that the newest products are small ans shaped like keys, so that they may fit in well on users' key chains.

There are two drives, both of which have storage capacities of 4 GB, which should be enough for many documents and photo files, even several videos.

The connection used is the USB 2.0, whose maximum transfer rate is of 480 Mbps, though there is, of course, backwards compatibility with USB 1.1 ports.

The most notable feature of these two is their shape. Basically, they are built in such a way as to look more or less identical to a key.

There are even two color options, gold and silver, each with their unique shape and the USB port built into their tip.

The silver-colored key has the name of GH-UFD4GKYS, whereas the gold one is dubbed GH-UFD4GKYG.

Finally, as proof that their size and shape does not impact on durability, the flash devices can safely operate at temperatures of between 0 an 70 degrees Celsius.

Set to start shipping next month, the newcomers will sell, in Japan at least, for the price of 3,480 Yen, which is the equivalent of about $41.3.
