Talk about a case of show business bad blood. Kevin Sorbo, the actor who used to play the role of Hercules in the ‘90s television series had but one wish, to make a cameo in Dwayne Johnson's new movie “Hercules,” but the director for the movie, Brett Ratner, denied him the opportunity.

Now the disappointed actor is making his frustration public by talking about the rejection in interviews. He told one publication, “[w]e were sort of taken aback that they wouldn't let me in that movie. Not even to do a cameo. I think it's kind of stupid, really.”

The actor pointed out that his show was once one of the most popular on TV, outclassing “Baywatch” and it's also still being broadcast in America, as well as 50 other countries all over the world. In his mind, this would classify him for at least one measly cameo role.

“We approached the director. I don't know what his reasons are - I don't know if it's political, or it's ego, or what it is. But to not put me in just for a stupid little cameo, the audience would've loved it. They would've loved it,” Sorbo complained.

Dwayne Johnson's “Hercules” is poised to take over the box office starting with July 25.
