The Playboy empire, and the mansion implicitly, has always been held as the epitome of freedom – all kinds of it. However, model Kendra Wilkinson, until not long ago one of Hugh Hefner’s three live-in girlfriends, says quite the contrary. In a recent interview, the blonde spills the beans on what living with Hefner meant for her.

For one, she makes it clear for Us Weekly magazine that she did not have a problem with not being the only woman in Hefner’s life. She does say, however, that the price she had to pay for it, and for living a life that she couldn’t have afforded otherwise, was a bit too high, in that she had her every move closely monitored, while also feeling all alone for most of the time.

“Besides the nights we went out, I only saw Hef, like, once a day walking through the halls to his office. There were never solo dates.” the 23-year-old blonde tells the mag. “The most we kind of say to each other is, ‘I love you,’ ‘Love you too,’ ‘I hope you have a good day,’ ‘Did you have a good day?’” she further explains. Moreover, as if being all alone, except for the company of the other two girlfriends, was not enough, Kendra also says that Hefner’s controlling ways were more than she could take.

For instance, Kendra says, several “strict” employees were responsible with writing down every move that she, Bridget Marquardt and Holy Madison made. Whenever the girls went out, Hefner’s men would put down in a book the times of their departures and arrivals, and the Playboy mogul would review it every morning with his coffee. This was just one of the reasons for which she chose to break up with Hefner and leave the mansion, Kendra adds.

Of course, there are regrets to speak of, now that she’s out and has a better perspective on the entire situation. “I hate putting my hand out, but we couldn’t have jobs other than getting appearance fees. Hef was kind of like my best friend, but a sugar daddy at the same time Hef made me feel beautiful. Now I’m totally against his way of life, with three girlfriends and all of that.” Kendra concludes by saying.
