The other day, the reality star stepped out in public for the first time since the scandal broke in the media, and to the shock of her fans, she was not wearing her wedding ring. This came just hours after an unconfirmed report claimed she’d flushed the ring in the toilet when she found out what Hank had done, and just as divorce rumors were starting to pick up once more.
To all those thinking this spelled the end of their marriage, here’s some hope: Us Weekly writes that, though “devastated” and “still in shock,” Kendra has decided that she would not break up the family just because Hank’s one-time transgression.
And it was just that, make no mistake about it, a family insider says for the celebrity publication. “This was a one-time affair,” the tipster insists.
Technically speaking, it wasn’t even an affair because all that Hank and Ava did was pleasure each other, they didn’t sleep together. Still, this was what Hank wanted, from what the model told the press. Moreover, he called her several times afterwards, promising her she would be well taken care of and, later on, urging her to accept his money in exchange for her silence on what had happened between them.
Kendra is choosing to ignore that last part and give Hank the benefit of the doubt in that every man or woman is allowed to make one mistake. The source says that she’s relatively “okay” now that she’s had time to think things through, but she isn’t sleeping all that much at night, partly because she’s so upset and partly because her recently born daughter Alijah is keeping her up.
Right now, the report goes on to mention, Hank and Kendra are still together, in the sense that they’re living under the same roof and have not yet decided on whether divorce is the best course of action.
It would seem that Kendra is inclining towards giving Hank another chance, if only because she’s thinking of the two children they have together.
“They have two kids together, and he needs to help out. Her kids are her #1 priority. She's doing what she needs to do. She's a tough girl,” the source stresses.
A few days ago, once she was done revealing everything that transpired between her and Hank, Ava London said she hoped Kendra would not divorce him for this one mistake, while also expressing her regret that she could be the cause of their divorce. If this new report is accurate, it seems that Ava is getting her wish; Hank too, because he was said to be “desperate” to cover up the affair so that he wouldn’t lose Kendra and the kids.
