14 DAY TRIAL // Keeping Up With the Kardashians offered a little preview of a potential drama in the Kardashian clan involving Kendall Jenner, who is looking to move away from home on her own. Needless to say, this does not sit well with matriarch Kris Jenner.
In the last episode aired on E!, the producers hinted that the young Kendall had dreams to leave home in pursuit of her modeling career. A short clip shows the family huddled around Kendall who sits in front of the computer. As Kris walks in, she asks, “Hey guys, what are you doing?”
This brings up the discussion of Kendall's (then) 18th birthday and plans of what she was going to do after that. To everyone's shock, Kendall admits that “I kind of want to move out,” which makes sister Kim raise an eyebrow and a look of utter denial from Kris.
This seems to have brought on a fierce battle between estranged Bruce and Kris Jenner, who appear to have different opinions about their daughter's future. Apparently, the dad is more supportive of the concept that Kendall should move out, whereas Kris advises her to remain under her roof as long as possible.
All of a sudden, Kendall becomes a driving wedge between her parents, as they take it on camera to argue about what position they should take on this recent development.
“Honestly, I think it would be good for her,” says Bruce, listing a number o reasons why this could be beneficial. He also adds that “I can’t believe she [Kris] is mad that I am encouraging Kendall to move out. I moved out of the house when I was 18 and I never came back — kids do this.”
Of course, this could very well be an elaborate ruse from producers to try and get viewers' attention because, one year later, Kendall still hasn't moved out, and doting Kris has also managed to bring Kim and Kanye to live under her roof, while they're doing work on their multi million-dollar mansion.
