Kendall Jenner, half-sister to the Kardashian girls Kim, Kourtney and Khloe, is growing sick and tired of being constantly criticized for her weight and / or the fact that she’s related to the reality stars, as she clearly says in a brand new interview with Harper’s Bazaar Arabia.

The latest issue of the mag also comes with a gorgeous photospread with the 17-year-old model.

In the interview, Kendall says being so much in the public eye has clear disadvantages, one of the biggest being that people always find something to criticize about her.

Whereas Kim and Khloe in particular are often forced to defend their curvy figures, with Kendall, the exact opposite applies.

“I’m constantly criticized for being too skinny. I’m trying to gain weight but my body won’t let it happen,” she says.

“What people don’t understand is that calling someone too skinny is the same as calling someone too fat, it’s not a nice feeling,” Kendall explains.

She’s also having a hard time with getting people to see beyond her famous family name and, consequently, give her a chance.

“I’m trying my best with what I want to do, which is modeling. I think I’m on my own career path and I don’t really care what other people have to say about me being in the spotlight of my sisters. I’m just doing my own thing,” she says.

Indeed, both she and Kylie have been working hard to build a career separate from the main Kardashian family business, which is reality television.

Just recently, the teens launched their own clothing line, the Kendall and Kylie for PacSun collection, which was received warmly by fans, as we also reported at the time.

As per ongoing reports, the girls have turned down several offers to do their own reality series spinoff, opting for modeling and designing instead.
