14 DAY TRIAL // In the unwritten laws of motherhood, a small pair of shoes is the international symbol for “honey, I'm pregnant” or “we have to talk,” depending on the marital status of the relationship and how far along the two of them have gotten in their love. That's why today, the celebrity gossip sites are freaking out over a possible pregnancy of singer Kelly Rowland.
The former Destiny's Child member posted a photo on her Instagram, which depicted a small-size pair of sneakers sitting quietly by a much larger pair. The photo in question was captioned with a message that again sent people to think about a future baby. “I'll be stuntin like my daddy (sic),” it read and a lot of her fans immediately jumped to the same conclusion.
The conditions for a pregnancy are most auspicious for the singer who recently got married to her manager Tim Witherspoon in Costa Rica in May, in a ceremony which was attended by the rest of her former band mates, including Beyonce and her sister Solange, who, at the time, came fresh from the elevator attack scandal.
Michelle Williams was also present at the ceremony in the exotic location, which is said to have been intimate. This would make the couple's first child and it comes amidst rumors that Beyonce and husband Jay Z are also trying for a second baby these days.
This is not the first hint that the couple have dropped about the pregnancy, however. Last month, Kelly and her husband were spotted at the baby goods store Bel Bambini in West Hollywood. The singer and her manager were reported to be shopping for furniture for their baby room.
An eyewitness told People Magazine at the time that Kelly and Tim “checked out the furniture and strollers on the second floor and walked around downstairs.”
It's been a big year for Kelly Rowland, who on May 9 was in Costa Rica to get married in a ceremony. She made the official announcement at the time to Us Weekly, when she described the wedding as being “perfect. That's [all I can say]. Perfect. Perfect day.”
The photo with the Air Jordans hinting subtly at the pregnancy has been liked over sixty thousand times despite the fact that it was posted just hours ago. Many fans rushed to wish the new mother well on her first pregnancy, but she still has to confirm the news officially.
One this is official though: starting today, Kelly Rowland is officially on baby bump watch, as she joins countless other celebrities that have gotten pregnant in 2014.
