Those who've watched the entire season of X Factor UK must have seen something was a bit off with judge and mentor Kelly Rowland last night, on the season finale. To those saying she was drunk, she has just one thing to say: no, she wasn't.

Various reports in the British media claim that Kelly was acting very unlike herself last night, on the final show of the latest season of the incredibly popular singing competition.

Not only did she say things that she would have never before said, but she also giggled constantly and did not understand what was being said to her.

Metro reports that Kelly's behavior sent Twitter into a frenzy, with many voices saying that she had definitely had too much too drink before the show started, which is why she was acting this way.

“Anyone else think Kelly Rowland is a little bit wired tonight? Think she may have over indulged in the Green Room,” one Twitter user wrote while the show was still airing.

Another ditched all subtlety to say that s/he believed Kelly was drunk. Otherwise, there was no explanation for her unprofessional conduct.

“Kelly Rowland IS DRUNK! what was that exchange Dermot?! not very professional. not very Kelly Rowland we've seen so far,” the Twitter user wrote.

According to Metro, shortly after the show, Kelly herself was on Twitter, fending off such reports that she was tipsy while on the job.

Far from it, she says: she was simply very happy to be part of the momentous occasion, that of naming the winner of X Factor.

“Nice try, but I wasn't under the influence, in ANY way..........just overwelmed by the crowds cheers!” Kelly tweeted in response to the rumors.

The video here should offer you a pretty good indication of how giddy Kelly was the entire night: watch her reaction after Little Mix performs “Silent Night.”

On a side note, Little Mix won, thus becoming the first group ever to win X Factor.
