Proving that she's a chip right off the old block, Kelly Osborne decided to go all the way and get a tattoo on her scalp, something that many people think about doing but never quite working up the nerve. The daughter of Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne documented the entire tattooing process on Instagram.

On the social media website, she posted a series of photos, showing off her new tattoo, a word scribbled on the side of her head that reads “Stories...” Kelly was clearly proud of her ink because the first photo she posted was with the purple bottle of ink and it was captioned “#oops what did I do tonight?”

A second photo showed Kelly head-down on the table, with the artist busy at work scribbling her scalp. Kelly looked like she was trying to zone out, presumably in an effort to block the pain that comes from someone sticking a sharp needle in your skull repeatedly.

This photo was captioned “First female member of the #ShamrockCrew thank you @Dr_woo_ssc for head tattoo!” a shout-out to the artist who inked her up, who appears in the third photo, alongside a very punk-rock Kelly Osbourne, flashing a peace sign as she offers the camera a revealing look at the side of her head and her new tattoo.

The tattoo was made easy by Kelly's new hairstyle, which includes a Mohawk that covers the entire length of the top of her head, leaving her hair short on the sides. In fact, Kelly was so proud of her new addition to her tattoo collection, that she later posed for several other photos, one in a mirror selfie, and one in which she also showcased her matching manicure.

We don't know what her parents, Sharon and Ozzy, have to say about the head tattoo, but Kelly did add a tweet on her social media that read, “Sorry mum and dad but I love it!” Presumably, this is a formal apology, but there is no repenting from the wild Kelly.

Thankfully, a head tattoo has the benefit that it can be covered up when you get tired of it, simply by letting your hair grow long, and shaving it off whenever you want to display it to the world again. Among the other celebrities that have expressed interest in getting a skull tattoo was Kristen Stewart, but she said in an interview that it was going to be a later project, something for her bucket list.
