A few days ago, Sharon Osbourne told the media that Kelly, following her arrest for slapping a reporter, had checked into a rehab facility to treat an unspecified addiction. At the time, Sharon would not reveal that location of the facility, but father Ozzy is not so keen on keeping a secret.

Speaking with the British media, the iconic rocker unveiled that Kelly was seeking treatment at the Hazelden Alcohol and Drug Rehabilitation Center in Oregon, a place he too was familiar with, since it was the same place where he once sought help to kick a drug and alcohol addiction. The facility, as Ozzy acknowledged, is some sort of a boot camp that practices “tough love.”

In a recent interview, Ozzy reminisced of the times he too spent there, and painted a picture of what was in store for his daughter. “Hazelden, in Minnesota, is a really hard one. They do not [expletive] around. I checked out because it scared me. They use a thing called tough love, where they’re like, 'You [expletive] piece of [expletive].' I was like, 'I felt like a piece of [expletive] before. That’s why I am paying you all this money. You don’t need to tell me every day.'” Ozzy said, at the same time admitting that all that tough love eventually worked out just fine for him.

Be that as it may, one source tells Wenn, sending Kelly to Hazelden was the only viable solution for her. “Ozzy hated his time in Hazelden and it must have been hard sending his daughter there, knowing how tough staff are with patients. But he is determined that she doesn’t follow the same path he has. He wants her to be happy and healthy.” the insider revealed.

This is Kelly Osbourne’s third stint in rehab, as in 2004 she went to the Malibu Promises center, while the following year she checked herself into Las Encinas in Pasadena, CA., to treat an addiction to painkillers and, presumably, alcohol.
