14 DAY TRIAL // Reality star Kelly Osbourne famously lot a lot of weight during her stint on Dancing With the Stars – but she hasn’t stopped there. After splitting from her fiancé, Kelly lost 10 more pounds, being now a size 6.
For a girl who would once get picked on for her weight both by her peers and in the media (as per her own words), that’s quite an achievement – one that wouldn’t have been possible if she didn’t suffer in love.
Writing in her Closer magazine column, Kelly says she was surprised to note she’d lost more weight after she broke up from her fiancé over cheating allegations.
In other words, she stuck to the heartbreak diet, even if she didn’t want to. Either way, Kelly says she now has more confidence in herself than she ever had in her life.
“I’ve only just started wearing lovely dresses like the beautiful black Tony Ward number I wore to the Emmy Awards last week,” Kelly writes.
“But losing another 10lbs since splitting with my ex Luke and becoming a size 6 has given me the confidence to dress up! I cannot believe all the positive comments I got,” she adds.
In fact, Kelly has now so much confidence that not only is she dressing up, she’s also un-dressing. Kelly recently performed (sung and danced) with the Pussycat Dolls.
As it must be common knowledge by now, the burlesque troupe is famous for the way they dress – in tight corsets and tiny stage outfits that no woman with as much as an extra pound would probably dare wear in public.
Kelly too is somewhat of a shy person but she managed to find the confidence to strut her stuff on stage. Moreover, those in attendance spoke highly of her performance, as we also reported just a few days ago.
“The Pussycat Dolls Burlesque Revue in LA last week was amazing! I was a bag of nerves and excitement, but performing with them was exhilarating – I loved it, Kelly says in her column.
“And I can’t believe the costumes I wore – I don’t dance in my underwear around the house, never mind in front of an audience!” she adds.
One such costume is seen in the photo attached to this article – it was taken by one of Kelly’s friends during rehearsals for the show and uploaded on Twitter.
