Adverse reactions can occur with most products women use on a daily basis, as a note on the package of each must also mention. Kelly Osbourne is the latest celebrity to get burned – literally – after using a cosmetic product, which was, in this case, the Impulse body spray, manufactured by Unilever, as Kelly wrote in a post on her official Twitter page.

Kelly, who is also a celebrity contestant on the current season of Dancing With the Stars, Tweeted about a skin issue just hours before her next appearance. Apparently, she used the Impulse body spray and got severe burns all over her body – nevertheless, she was willing to show the world only the one on her armpit, which looked an angry, bright red and, in all fairness, very painful.

“Never ever use Impulse body spray from the UK. I sprayed it on myself and now have really bad burns all over my body. Gentle on skin my [expletive]!” Kelly wrote on Twitter. Since most of her followers wished her well, with some even saying that she might be blowing things out of proportion a bit, the singer later uploaded a photo of the armpit burn to show them that she was not in the least exaggerating. Moreover, she said, she had to have her outfits for the show adjusted to hide the burns, as if the pain was not enough to have to handle.

“That’s just my armpit. The one on my tummy is much worst [sic]! They just had to send my dress for tonight back to fix so it covers my burns.” Kelly wrote. Not only did the wardrobe guys work wonders with her outfits for the latest episode of the televised dance competition, but Kelly too managed to impress audiences with her moves without showing the least sign of the pain she must have been in.

Unilever, the maker of all Impulse products, got wind of Kelly’s complaint and immediately issued an apology to the media. “Impulse is very sorry to hear about Kelly Osbourne’s experience with one of our products. We take all complaints seriously and are currently liaising with Kelly via her agent to investigate this matter. As part of this we are looking to offer Kelly a personal consultation with a dermatologist, who will be able to answer any of her questions and help us understand what happened in this instance.” the statement said.
