14 DAY TRIAL // Kelly Clarkson is on fire these days! In preparation for the launch of her much anticipated new album, “Stronger,” which is out in stores on October 24, the original American Idol has debuted a new song: “Dark Side.”
The track, just like the others from the same material released so far, is a very personal take on relationships, going beyond what one might call the “comfort zone” of mainstream pop music.
Then again, Kelly is not your regular pop artist, either. She’s always been comfortable with emotions and, most importantly, with calling a spade a spade even if this doesn’t sit well with the entire world.
This is more than apparent on the new track, on which she sings about really getting to know your loved one and the consequences of doing so.
“Everybody’s got a dark side,/ do you love me?/ Can you love mine?” she sings. Her fans already do.
