The Mp3 player sports unconventional shape

I don't get these people! They are capable of all sorts of atrocious acts to create wacky music devices. Take this one, for example.

The fellows from DigitalRise took Happy Feet dead clone, stuffed an mp3 player in its a*s and did this. By this, I mean a freaky plastic penguin-bird hubris, capable of singing, dancing and playing music, like a pro, or sort of.

Meet the iBird-1000 mp3 player! It may look like a toy, but it was packed with 1GB of internal memory capacity, scary LED blinking eyes and a funny moving beak.

Besides looking kind of dead under the rough plastic casing, the iBird is said to move its beak to the lyrics; still, I'd advise you not to take this annoying tweet in the bus, as it may cause severe trauma to the people near you.

Other technical specification details include a built-in loudspeaker system on the back of the bird, as well as a built-in radio. It reveals an integrated bright 1.0-inch LCD display, enough to cover the basic information on the track you're listening to.

The internal memory allows the user to store up to 250 songs or else 16.5 hours of non-stop music. In addition, there is also USB compatibility, as well as a multilingual interface support, a voice recorder and a useful telephone book function.

As for its capabilities, the iBird can deal with all sorts of file formats on the market, such as MP4, WMA, WMV, ASF and WAV without the need of any conversion procedure. It also features 6 playback modes, an adjustable playback tempo and 7 preset EQ settings to adjust the sound performance.

Even if there is no official information regarding this aspect, it seems that the iBird can even double itself as an eBook reader, allowing each user to read TXT files directly on the MP3 player's display. But since it has such a humble display, I doubt there is going to be too much reading on that.

You can also forget about putting the Bird thing into your jeans' pocket, unless you don't want to hear someone's kid shouting: "Look, daddy, that man's bird is singing to me!"

About the price tag? it's about 35 buck a pop, purchasable online, too!
