Ever wanted to grow some flowers, but you were just too busy typing away at your computer to remember to water them? Well, now the USB enabled Greenhouse has the answer for you, as it comes with everything you need to grow your very own flowers and that without stepping very far away from your computer.

A cool gadget for all the USB and plant lovers out there, the USB Greenhouse is a USB-powered vase that keeps your plants safe and healthy even without direct sunlight as a special lamp will work for as long as the computer system is powered. The mini greenhouse also comes with a software suite that will remind you to water the plants on a regular basis and thanks to its integrated sensors, you can even monitor how quickly your plant is growing.

A starter pack is included with the USB Greenhouse and it contains Marigold seeds and artificial soil, but I bet that your plants will grow quicker and healthier if you use some good old natural soil. As the entire gadget is pretty small, only 17.2 x 22.6 x 17 cm, and quite lightweight at 560 grams, the USB Greenhouse can be placed just about anywhere near your computer system, but take care when watering the plants inside, as water and electronics are not the best of friends.

On the system requirements side, the USB Greenhouse comes with a software suite that needs around 200MB of storage space on your hard disk drive and for best results, please use a system featuring a Pentium 3 or faster processing unit as well as 256MB of random access memory. As the software is on a CD-ROM you will need an optical drive too and of course a spare USB port... that's why it is called the USB Greenhouse!
