Developed by SymbianGuru, the application requires a Google Finance account, so you can get real-time finance pieces of information directly on your mobile phone. Before logging in to your Google Finance, make sure you have an Internet connection active and you will be able to receive live financial pieces of information. The application is easy to install, either over-the-air or by simply synchronizing your mobile phone with the PC.
The first time you'll be using the application, you will notice that it doesn't feature any saved data. To start receiving pieces of information, you will need to click on the Options tab and log in to your Google Finance account. The Update button will be available, so you can retrieve the data you need in the form of lists. The layout of the lists looks like columns, which contain fields such as Symbol, Last Price, Change in percent and Mkt Cap. In case you cannot see the last column, try to scroll to the right untill you reach the desired one.
Clicking on the Details tab from the Options menu will provide you with in-depth pieces of information regarding every portfolio item found in these lists. Updating the portfolio can be done automatically, by setting a timer on the AutoRefresh function, or manually, by clicking the Update button at any time you feel like. Users will also be able to record the history of Google finance rate courses by selecting the Start date and the End date of the history recording. After selecting these dates, one will only need to click the Connect tab and they will start receiving the required info.
