14 DAY TRIAL // The Westboro Baptist Church hates pretty much everyone, from dead American soldiers and their families, to pop stars and anyone who’s gay or pro marriage equality. They thought protesting outside a Ke$ha concert was a good idea but that was before Ke$ha had a very good idea about how to respond.
Her music might not be my cup of tea but I do have to say that she deserves a big round of applause for not playing into the trap set by the WBC protesters, by not responding with hate to hate.
As the protesters were playing a parody of her “We R Who We R,” “God Hates Who You Are,” outside a venue in Lincoln, NE, she sent out her dancers to deliver her message.
And they did just that, dancing in front of the protesters and basically telling them that, no matter how much they hate, the show goes on.
