14 DAY TRIAL // UK-based company Kazam unveiled 3 new Windows tablets and 2 Windows Phones less than two months ago during Mobile World Congress 2015 trade fair.
Although it took some time, Kazam has just introduced its Thunder 450W smartphone in Italy, one of the best markets for Microsoft's Windows Phone platform.
Customers will be able to purchase the Kazam Thunder 450W for just €200 outright, WMPoweruser reports. The smartphone can be found at various major retailers across the country, but only in lime yellow.
It's also worth mentioning that those who buy the handset will also receive a Kazam Rescue package, which will allow owners to replace the phone's display for free in the first year of purchase.
Basically, this is a warrant that covers the replacement of the display for free in the first year, even if it gets scratched by mistake by users.
Before making your purchase, you should know that Kazam Thunder 450W ships with Windows Phone 8.1 operating system out of the box, but it will be upgraded to Windows 10 for Phones after the new platform is released later this summer.
A mid-range Windows Phone handset with 5-inch display and 1GB of RAM
When it comes to specs, the Thunder 450W is a mid-range smartphone equipped with a 1.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 processor, 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal memory.
Kazam's Windows Phone handset packs an 8-megapixel rear-facing camera with autofocus, LED flash and video recording, as well as a secondary 2-megapixel camera in the front for video calls.
The Thunder 450W sports a 5-inch IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen display that supports HD (720p) resolution and offers microSD card slot for memory expansion (up to 32GB).
We expect Kazam to launch the Thunder 450W Windows Phone handset in more European countries in the coming weeks, but we're not sure where exactly the smartphone will go on sale next.
