UK-based company Kazam has already launched several Windows Phone handsets in less than a year and will continue to release smartphones powered by Microsoft's mobile platform.

Even though Kazam mostly launches Android smartphones, the company is also committed to its partnership with Microsoft, which is why we expect more Windows Phone devices this year.

The good news is the next smartphones coming out from Kazam might be powered by Windows 10 Mobile. Even though Microsoft confirmed it would launch Windows 10 for PC on July 29, the smartphone version of the operating system has yet to receive a release date.

Rumor has it that Windows 10 Mobile might be launched in September, which means the first smartphones powered by the new OS might make their debut on the market in the following months.

Many Windows 10 phones are expected to arrive by the end of the year

Speaking of which, Kazam has big plans for the remaining of the year. One of company's officials confirmed that Kazam is now working to bring one or more Windows 10 phones on the market later this year.

“Yes, we are already looking at Windows 10 for phones. We have a lot of Windows phones and it is a very important partnership for us. We will continue with that,” said in an interview for TrustedReviews James Atkins, Kazam’s co-founder and chief marketing officer.

This is quite good news for Windows Phone fans since the new version of the OS will be pushed to more markets at all tier levels.

With Microsoft launching its own flagship smartphones powered by Windows 10 Mobile, and other OEMs releasing new handsets aimed at mid- and low-tier, there will be plenty of offers to choose from.

The third ranked mobile operating system on the market, Windows Phone, has yet to reach 5% market share worldwide. With the upcoming release of Windows 10 Mobile, that number should be attainable in the year after its launch.
