Katy Perry was the first performer at the Kids’ Inaugural Concert in Washington, D.C., over the weekend. Judging by the two videos embedded here, she was a tough act to follow.

The pop darling performed four of her biggest (and most recent) hits, including “Teenage Dream,” “Firework,” (both of which you can see here), “Wide Awake” and “Part of Me.”

Katy being Katy, she did not miss the opportunity to dress up for the occasion, rocking a very patriotic leotard and saluting the crowd twice, once at the beginning and once at the end.

Though her performance could be described as faulty (at best), it seemed that her fans in the audience had quite a blast.

The cameras kept zooming in on First Lady Michelle Obama, who sat front row with her two daughters Malia (14) and Sasha (11). They’re clearly KatyCats the three of them.
