14 DAY TRIAL // The “Dark Horse” singer sure does seem to have a lot of time on her hands. We wish she'd share her secret with us, because, on paper, she shouldn't even have time to go to the bathroom in the morning.
She's currently on her Prismatic World Tour, which is still on the European leg, she's dating DJ Diplo in exotic locations, and she has just recently announced the launch of her new music label and the signing of her first act. Doesn't that sound like a lot of work?
Apparently not, because Katy still has time to experiment with her looks, as proven by a photo she just posted on her social media. In the pic in question Katy Perry appears to have done some drastic things to her face, basically removing her eyebrows.
The Instagram photo was captioned “BAUS BISH BB” and a closer look shows she's not actually had her eyebrows shaved off, just bleached and then covered in make-up the same color of her skin to make them seem virtually invisible, unless you look real close.
Katy seems all about body alteration these days. Last month she colored her hair slime green and thus started a craze that has swept through the fashion world to make several other victims, some of them celebrities. Of course, Gaga made sure the world knew she started the trend and blasted Katy on Twitter.
Katy's latest look could also be inspired by Gaga, who is known for her odd body modifications, which she achieves with the help of elaborate outfits, hair, and make-up. Of course, Lady Gaga can't brand every other change she makes, simply because she goes through 3 or 4 modifications every day.
Also, she wasn't the first to adopt the “browless” look. Last November, Miley Cyrus also posted a photo of herself without any facial hair whatsoever. Fortunately, not many fans seemed excited to copy her look, so maybe Perry might have better luck.
Some media outlets felt the need to speculate that Katy's recent experiments with her look came only after her split with John Mayer, indicating that her former partner might have been keeping her in check or that she now feels the need to explore.
If anything, she might be trying to amp things up to compete with her bitter rival, Lady Gaga, or trying to muscle in on her weird factor which, so far, has been her “thing.”
