14 DAY TRIAL // Rihanna is – more or less officially – back with her ex, Chris Brown. Her fans aren’t the only ones thinking that not much good can come out of the relationship: her good friend Katy Perry thinks the same, according to a recent report.
Until some time ago, the two were like two peas in a pod, but things have definitely cooled off considerably ever since Rihanna has reconciled with Chris, the New York Daily News writes in the Confidenti@l column.
Admittedly, Katy thinks Rihanna is making a mistake, and she’s wasting no time in giving her a piece of her mind.
“Rihanna’s relationship with Chris Brown has put a strain on her friendship with BFF Katy Perry. A source in Perry’s camp tells Confidenti@l, they’re ‘barely talking’ and ever since the couple reunited, ‘there has been tension’ between them,” the e-zine writes.
“Perry, who didn’t attend Rihanna’s Halloween bash, has been spending a lot of time with pals Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart. Our spy says Katy fears ‘Rihanna is making a huge mistake and doesn’t want to be part of it’,” the report goes on to mention.
Officially, neither Rihanna nor Chris has confirmed they’re back together but, as they say, there’s never smoke without fire – and there’s been plenty of that.
Until one month ago, Chris was still dating, at least officially, model Karrueche Tran. After being photographed with Rihanna several times, Karrueche broke up with him.
The closest fans have come to a confirmation that they’ve rekindled their romance was when Chris posted a video on his Vimeo page, talking about his love for two women, which was equally passionate and genuine, as impossible to believe as it might seem.
The video, which you can find here, has been interpreted as his (not so subtle) way of announcing he and Rihanna are an item again.
