You might have fallen in love with how colorful and dynamic Katy Perry is, and it's that very attitude that sets her apart from the rest of the musical scene, but it's recently come to the Internet's attention that Katy's looks and style relies heavily on a 1940s comic book character by the name of Katy Keene.

Drawing inspiration from the golden years of marketing and consumerism isn't that big a deal, everyone does it these days and vintage themes have made a big comeback in the last years. But Katy seems to copy her comic book counterpart on more than one occasion.

Reports indicated that her Jungle Jane persona, her California Girl image and even her Chinese-inspired character are all peculiarly similar to Katy Keen's comics which is making people wonder if they can foretell what outfit Katy is going to be doing next by taking a look at the famous Archie comics.

Katy, who has just released her latest single, “Birthday,” hasn't made any comments to the allegations yet, but as the story gets picked up by more and more news outlets, she'll soon have to make a statement on the matter.

Meanwhile, fans can enjoy her latest effort, “Birthday,” in which she takes on several roles of typical birthday entertainers, from clowns to petting zoo keepers, and she does it all with a very convincing talent.
