They say no (admittedly sane) fashion critic would ever look at Katie Price, formerly known back in her glamor modeling days simply as Jordan, and say she has “style.” Yet, Price is not letting that get her down, as she’s come up with the ultimate style guide to help women become strong individuals and learn to recreate her outfits, her makeup and even her surgically altered features, as Metro informs.

The book is called “Standing Out: My Look, My Style, My Life” and includes tips from how to wear platform lucite shoes, how to apply three pairs of fake lashes to get the Jordan gaze and why Botox is better than surgery, to how to combine colors and wear boas on a black-tie event. As easily imagined, given Price’s look throughout the years and her obvious disregard of anything “ordinary,” representatives of the British media are not exactly what one may call eager to buy the “opus,” especially since some of them have already seen excerpts from it.

And they’re nothing short of hilarious, they say. “People are scared of Botox as they think their face is going to end up frozen and blank-looking, but I don’t have a very expressive face anyway so I don’t worry about not being able to show emotion. It’s not like I’m an actor and need to have that ability.” the former glamor model turned successful businesswoman says in the book, according to the Guardian.

Aside from Botox, Katie is also addicted to sunbeds, regardless of the many warnings from health experts to avoid them. “I don’t smoke, I rarely drink, I don’t take drugs – my only bad habits are sunbeds and Botox.” she says in another excerpt in which she sings praises to her daily habit of getting on the sunbed to maintain her orange glow. Of course, Price doesn’t stop here: she offers advice and easy-to-follow steps to recreate her many looks. In the meantime, she complains about not getting samples from designers to wear when in public.

“You’d think with the amount of coverage I get in magazines and papers each week, designers would be more than happy to lend me an outfit, but, no, I can’t get any big names to lend to me – and it really [expletive] me off. I’m probably more successful than most girls in the public eye. I look at people like Kelly Brook and I just can’t understand how she gets to wear all these designer clothes. I’m not slating her, but really, what the hell does she actually do?” Price laments in another passage.

“Standing Out,” Katie Price’s style bible, is out in bookstores next week.
