14 DAY TRIAL // Glamor model Katie Price has just announced on Twitter that she will be divorcing her husband Kieran Hayler because he was having an affair with her best friend. The star isn't afraid to take this important step despite the fact that she's six months pregnant with their second child.
The 35-year-old British celebrity decided to speak up about her husband's infidelities and she chose to expose his affair on Twitter, while at the same time announcing her divorce. She claims to have taken the decision after she found out that he had been seeing her friend Jane Pountney behind her back.
According to her statement on Twitter, the two have been fooling around for the past seven months, despite the fact that they're both married. Katie's tweet read “Sorry to say me and kieran are divorcing him and my best friend jane pountney bee[n] having a full blown [intimate] affair for 7 months (sic).”
Hayler is Katie's third husband and also a part-time exotic dancer, but probably the fact that he cheated on her with her best friend is what hurts the most. Jane, thought to be 49, has been friends with Katie for over two decades, since she was just a young 15-year-old model. She even attended Katie's wedding to Kieran.
The heart-breaking news comes shortly after Katie made it public that she was pregnant with her fifth child, the second with Kieran. The couple are also parents to eight-month-old Jett and have been married since January 2013, when they were joined in matrimony in a procession in the Bahamas, after just one month of dating.
While the news of the divorce hasn't been officially confirmed, Katie's Twitter added several mournful tweets that seemed to confirm the fact that she was heartbroken about her finding and also about the divorce.
In one tweet, Kieran is called a “disgusting human being” for “doing this after I've just had a baby and still doing it till I caught them,” referring to the fact that Kieran did not put an end to his infidelities until he was found out.
Later, Katie added “No human being deserves this especially being 6 months pregnant,” before finally breaking down to say “worse pain in the world.”
Her representative declined to make any official comment on the matter, although he did confirm that Katie was indeed currently pregnant, carrying Kieran's second child.
In an interview she gave last year, Katie mentioned that in case of a divorce, Kieran would get “[expletive] all from me,” despite the fact that she's got a forty five million pound fortune in the bank.
In fact, her exact words were “It's a shame, in a way, because he is lovely, and I want to spoil him, but I've said to him that I've been taken advantage of so bad in the past that unfortunately he's going to get [expletive] all from me.”
