Katie Holmes and Tom Cruise, who have the 3-year-old baby girl Suri, are preparing for another child, with the former “Dawson’s Creek” star receiving intense auditing from Scientology. In light of Holmes spending increasingly more time at the Scientology center, the logical conclusion can only be that she’s preparing to have another baby, Page Six infers.

“Katie Holmes has been undergoing intense Scientology ‘auditing’ – sparking rumors that she’s ‘being prepared’ for her second baby with high-priest husband Tom Cruise. After promoting the Kevin Kline movie ‘The Extra Man,’ and the dramedy ‘The Romantics,’ at Sundance, Holmes is back to spending hours at the Hollywood Scientology Center,” Page Six says.

If only she were doing this for herself or to get more acquainted with her husband’s religious beliefs would be one thing, the gossip rag goes on to say. However, she might be doing this because she’s getting “prepped” to have another child, with sources swearing that Holmes followed the exact same course of action right before getting pregnant with Suri.

“Last week, she spent more than four hours there. A source told Page Six, ‘This is exactly what happened just before she got pregnant with Suri. Tom has made no secret of the fact that he would like another baby. It is almost as if she is being prepared for it.’ Scientologists believe the ‘health and the sanity of the child begin long before birth,’ according to a church-run Web site, which campaigns for silent birth. A rep for Holmes didn’t return e-mails,” Page Six further writes.

Still, fans should keep in mind that this could be nothing but a rumor, just like the one that emerged late last year. Other unnamed sources were telling the media back then that Katie had agreed to have another baby if only Tom would set a bank account in her name, account in which he would also deposit $75 million. Clearly, that one turned out to be pure speculation.
