14 DAY TRIAL // Kate Upton is one of the highest rated and most popular models of the moment, so clearly now’s the time to capitalize on all the exposure she’s getting to branch out. She’s already starred in a couple of small roles for the big screen, but Kate is now in talks for the role that could literally put her name on the map.
The Wrap has learned that Kate is in talks for the female lead in the much mediated “Entourage” movie, which will reunite the boys from the HBO hit series for another round of adventures on the big screen.
Kate “has not been formally offered the role yet” but, according to insiders, she is a serious contender for the role of Vincent Chase’s girlfriend.
“She is in early discussions to join the cast, according to sources. While a representative for the swimsuit model-turned-actress has denied that any such talks are under way, they acknowledge that there was interest in Upton for the project earlier this year,” the publication says.
“Entourage” stars Jeremy Piven, Adrian Grenier, Kevin Connolly, Kevin Dilor, and Jerry Ferrara, and is directed by Doug Elin on a script he also wrote. No release date has been announced yet.
