14 DAY TRIAL // No, this isn't a piece of news regarding how Kate Middleton is pregnant again, although that's the only reason that has been popping up in gossip magazines since 2014 began. No, this time it's much more serious, as the Duchess has literally been exposed by the German press in some very revealing photos.
The German magazine Bild has dared to publish the photos that no British publication would, out of respect for the royal family. In the photo, one can see Kate Middleton's dress being blown by the rotor blades of the helicopter she's just descended from.
Needless to say, the sudden gust of wind offers an unhindered view of the royal derrière and this seems to have rubbed Britons all over the world the wrong way. The photo was taken in Australia, where Kate and Prince Williams were visiting a place in the Blue Mountains, during their Royal Tour in April.
The German publication describes the photo as showing “our favorite Duchess Kate, 32, in the Australian Blue Mountains. The rotor blades of the royal helicopter swirl the air so that Kate’s summer dress blew up — giving a clear view of her beautiful bum!”
What makes the photo even more outrageous is the fact that you can't really tell from looking at it if the Duchess is wearing any underwear. It's being reported that the photos have been shopped to British magazines, but not a single one agreed to publish them, so then the photographers sold them to the Germans for an undisclosed sum.
This isn't the first time that Kate is caught off-guard and essential bits of her anatomy are plastered all over the tabloids. Some of you might still remember the 2012 incident where she was caught without her top sunbathing during a holiday to a Provence Chateaux. The photos were published by a French mag but soon made the rounds all over the world, thanks to the Internet.
The fact that the Germans chose to run the photo right next to two more famous behinds, that of Khloe and Kim Kardashian, who are renowned for their ample posteriors, makes the story even more degrading for the British royal family, that is frantically trying to keep such stories from running in the press.
Apart from offering an unprecedented view of the Duchess' privates, the photo also reignites an old debate that has been going around for a while. People are wondering why Kate isn't earing weights in the hems of her loose clothes to avoid such wardrobe malfunctions.
This wouldn't be a first. The Queen has been doing it for years and has managed to go on a long time without suffering from similar incidents that would be quite a slap in the face of British royalty. But then again, Kate is young and eager to show off her forms, though the Queen might not be of the same opinion.
