The Duchess of Cambridge and Prince William announced they were expecting their first child last December and, since then, they have been constantly hounded by the paparazzi for a good photo of Kate’s bump. An entire spread will be published in an Italian and then, later on, US tabloid.

People magazine reports that intimate pictures of the royal couple on the beach have been snapped without their knowledge, and will be printed in two separate publications.

The Palace is none too pleased about this, even issuing a statement to say that taking the photos – and running them – is a violation of the couple’s right to privacy.

Kate and William are now on vacation in Mustique, which is a private island.

“The photos – Kate and William walking arm-in-arm on the beach in their swimwear as well as the bikini-clad duchess frolicking in the surf – are published in Chi magazine this week as well as expected in a US tabloid,” People writes.

Chi is the same publication that also ran the controversial topless photos of Kate, as she was sunbathing on a private property.

As back then, the paparazzi used long lenses to be able to snap the shots at a distance.

“We are disappointed that photographs of the Duke and Duchess on a private holiday look likely to be published overseas,” a spokesperson for St. James’ Palace says.

“This is a clear breach of the couple's right to privacy,” the statement further notes.

People doesn’t say whether Kate and William are also looking to sue over the photos but, as some of you may remember, they did so last September, when the first photo scandal broke.

A judge fined the tab for the pics but, without a doubt, it made more money off them than the fine so, at the end of the day, it still turned a profit.
