Those of you who said that Kate Middleton was in trouble with the Queen after her latest photo scandal were right on the money. It seems that the Queen had a very stern talk with the Duchess of Cambridge and explained to her how a royal should be dressing, because, on her latest outing, Kate was spotted wearing something a little more tight-fitting and significantly heavier.

The Duchess went for a red buttoned coat and matching dress for her first public appearance since the photo scandal that saw her posterior exposed by the media all over the world. She arrived at the Strathhearn Community Campus in Perthshire together with Prince William, determined not to suffer any more wardrobe malfunctions.

Eyewitness reports confirm that the Duchess seemed unaffected by the recent scandal which brought the Royal British family in the attention of the press for all the wrong reasons. She was said to be laughing and even joking with the children at the center.

Her attire was designed by the Scottish Jonathan Saunders, probably as a tribute to the locals, but it seemed to be very well suited to the occasion.

In case you didn't turn on the news this week, the biggest story was that a photo of Kate Middleton's royal posterior was published in the German press after the British publications refused to run it, and then it made headlines all over the world.

Most nations, and Britain in particular, chose to run the photo censored with a hefty dose of blurring, as a sign of respect for the Royal family, but the Germans didn't seem to have such scruples. Yesterday, the incriminating photo caused even more uproar when it was presented uncensored in the Australian press.

The editors of the Aussie newspaper that ran the photo claimed that they didn't feel the need to adhere to the British code of conduct, that was “antique” and they also pointed out that Kate should have taken better care for this not to happen, since this wasn't her first incident.

The photo also sparked controversy because you can't really tell if the Duchess had on any underwear at the time her dress flew up briefly when it was blown away by the rotor of a helicopter. People divided into two sides, one condemning the Duchess and the other defending her.

A clear resolution hasn't yet been reached, but it looks like Kate Middleton has learned her lesson, at least for now. Or it could all very well be due to the fact that it was a rainy day and she didn't want to be cold.
