Kate Hudson and Owen Wilson’s relationship has seen more ups and downs than any other in Tinseltown, and it is precisely its rocky nature that has made both of them understand just how much they mean for each other. The two actors are now ready to take their relationship one step further, and have decided they are ready to have a baby, the British publication The Sun says, citing sources close to the celebrity duo.

A couple of days ago, Kate and Owen stepped out in public together, thus silently confirming that they had resumed their relationship from where they left it in 2007. Now, speculation has it that they’re trying for a baby, and have decided that the sooner this happens, the better for both of them. Owen is finally ready to commit and Kate couldn’t be happier with the change she sees in him, the same reports say.

“Kate has been desperate for a brother or sister for Ryder – her first child with ex-husband Chris Robinson – for some time. It was a stumbling block previously with Owen. He’s always had a difficult time committing, but this time it’s different. They’ve discussed the idea of becoming parents at length and Kate has seen a change in Owen. He is now is [sic] truly committed and is showing a new-found maturity. He loves the idea of being a dad and has told Kate that he's ready when she is, but the sooner, the better!” the unnamed spy reveals for The Sun.

At the same time, Kate and Owen are not the only ones on board with this idea, since her family is also showing the most support in their starting a family, the same source unveils. “Kate is over the moon and really wants to start a family with Owen now she feels that he has finally grown up. The fact that he is ready to make that commitment to her has given her faith in the relationship. Kate’s family are all really behind the relationship as well after seeing how Owen has turned it around. Everyone is now confident the relationship will work out long-term and they will be together forever.” The Sun further writes, citing the same insider.

As noted above, Kate and Owen were also rumored to be together in 2007. However, their relationship suddenly came to an end when the actress reportedly told him that she needed more commitment on his behalf. Owen, in his turn, did not take the breakup too well and ended up in a hospital after trying to take his own life.
