14 DAY TRIAL // Ever since she was a contestant on the tenth season of ABC’s Dancing With the Stars, Kate Gosselin has been in top shape. Of course, fans of her “Jon and Kate Plus 8” reality show must know that she also got a tummy tuck after giving birth to the sextuplets but, right now, Kate is working really hard to maintain her enviable figure, as the Daily Mail can also confirm.
The busy mother of 8 is often photographed in workout gear, coming out of the gym or simply running errands. In the past, Kate has said that she works out a lot whenever she gets a few minutes of time all for herself, but she’s rarely been photographed actually doing so. Until now, that is. A series of paparazzi pics of Kate taking her morning jog have surfaced and one thing that is crystal clear from them is that she’s in top shape, even rocking a well defined six-pack.
“Wearing only tight black leggings, a purple sports bra and an iPod, reality star Kate Gosselin hit the road in Reading, Pennsylvania for an early morning jog. The 35-year-old revealed her super-toned abs as she focused on her stride and broke a sweat. She even showed signs of a six-pack, rare indeed on a mother of eight,” the Mail also notes. Clearly, one may as well assume that regular exercise is not all that Kate does to maintain her figure, especially since she said herself that she’s very careful about what she eats as well.
“Of course, Kate did get a little help shortly after she gave birth to her sextuplets Alexis, Hannah, Leah, Aaden, Collin and Joel in May, 2004. Kate and her then-husband Jon, already had two-year-old twins Cara and Mady when their reality show Jon and Kate Plus 8 was launched. She underwent a free tummy tuck after Dr. Lawrence Glassman offered his services to her following the birth of the sextuplets. Her stomach was wrinkly and saggy following the pregnancy, but the surgery restored it rather impressively. While delighted at the time, Kate had no way of knowing that 32-year-old Jon would later hook up with Dr. Glassman’s 22-year-old daughter, Hailey. That romance contributed to Jon and Kate's 2009 break up,” the British tab goes on to say.
What with her busy schedule and offers reportedly coming in from all sides, it’s only understandable that Kate did everything in her power to look her best. Right now, she’s back working with TLC on a series of specials that do not include her ex Jon, generically called “Kate Plus 8,” while also preparing for the launch of her own reality show later this summer, “Twist of Kate.”
