Kate Gosselin may be off TV for now but she's hoping she won't be for long. The recently minted coupon blogger says in a new interview that she still wants her own talk show, and there might just be enough interest in her to get it.

Earlier this year, the first rumors that TLC might cancel Kate's show, “Kate Plus 8,” started making the rounds when a severe drop in ratings was noticed.

The announcement came shortly afterwards: the network was pleased with the work they'd done with the sometimes-controversial mom of 8, but they would be parting ways.

Since then, there's been a lot of talk about Kate's possible career choices now that she no longer had the financial resources to maintain her previous celebrity lifestyle.

Just recently, the mother of 8 started her work as a spokesperson for CouponCabin, a website that basically offers everyone interested coupons for online shopping.

Mrs. Gosselin sat down with Extra to speak about her new job, her plans for Thanksgiving and whether she's happy with the way things are in her life right now.

In between other things, Kate also dropped this gem: she doesn't have any plans for a talk show right now, but she's still hoping she'll get it one day.

“I definitely have always said I think a talk show is possibly in my future... and so, we will wait and see,” Mrs. Gosselin says in the interview, as the video below will confirm.

Kate once had a brief stint on The View as co-host, so it's likely she got the idea this was something she would want to do from here.

As for her latest job, that of a spokesperson for the coupon online company, Kate says she's killing two birds with one stone: she used coupons before now too, and now she even gets paid to do it.

“I want to help spread the word to help other moms and families so they can save as much as they can. There is one thing that I know how to do, and that is shop online,” she says.

The Daily Mail reports that, though new on the job, Mrs. Gosselin is now in Australia without the kids, to celebrate Steve Irwin Day with Steve's family.
