About two months ago, Indian OEM Karbonn announced the upcoming availability of three high-end Android smartphones, the Titanium Hexa, Titanium Octane and Octane Plus.

The smartphones were supposed to arrive on the market the following month, but only Karbonn Titanium Hexa was made available exclusively via Amazon India.

Well, those patiently waiting for the Titanium Octane Plus to arrive on the market will be happy to know that the smartphone is now available for purchase for only Rs 17,990 ($305 / €225) outright.

However, as GadgetsToUse points out, the Karbonn Titanium Octane Plus is available in India through online retailer Snapdeal. According to the seller, all orders are dispatched in 1 business day, which means that the smartphone is already in stock and ready to be shipped.

Karbonn Titanium Octane Plus is a high-end smartphone with a price of a mid-range device. For only $300 (€225), users will get an octa-core handset with top-notch camera and lots of other state of the art features.

Obviously, you should expect the smartphone to offer dual-SIM capabilities with dual standby support, as well as Android 4.4 KitKat operating system.

As the name suggests, the Titanium Octane Plus has a true octa-core MediaTek MTK6592 processor clocked at 1.7GHz, a Mali 450 MP4 graphics processing unit and 2GB of RAM.

Another strong point of the smartphone would be the impressive 16-megapixel rear-facing camera that features autofocus, LED flash and full HD (1080p) video recording. It also packs additional features like Smile Detection, Panorama Sweep and Voice Capture.

But that is not all. Karbonn Titanium Octane Plus boasts an incredible 8-megapixel front-facing camera, which seems a bit of an overkill given the fact that it will only be used to take selfies and make video calls. Still, the feature is there, so users should be able to capture perfect selfies.

Furthermore, Karbonn’s flagship smartphone is equipped with a 5-inch IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen display that supports full HD (1080p) resolution. According to the handset maker, the smartphone’s display should offer “a supreme wide angle viewing experience with bright and bold colors.”

On the inside, the Titanium Octane Plus packs 16GB of internal memory, which can be further expanded up to 32GB via microSD memory card.

The smartphone is powered by a 2000 mAh battery, which has yet to be rated by the manufacturer. It also offers 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, microUSB 2.0, as well as GPS with A-GPS support.
