14 DAY TRIAL // A new Kanye West track has leaked online, rumored to be included on his upcoming album “So Help Me God.” Snippets of “Awesome” were previewed some time ago in one of Kanye’s shows and on the reality show Keeping Up with the Kardashians, but you can now listen to it in its entirety below.
Brace yourself, this one too is seriously heavy on Autotune, to the point where it might leave you with a headache after your first listen.
“Awesome” is actually a ballad for the woman in Kanye’s life, his wife Kim Kardashian, and it translates into one giant love declaration. A declaration set to Autotune, but a love declaration nonetheless.
With “Only One” dedicated to his daughter North, this is the second new song Kanye dedicates to a close family member. And you thought he had a heart made of stone.
However, before you get all mushy, you should probably know that Kanye still has the same huge ego as before, and he rushes to proclaim on song that it’s not just Kim who is “awesome”: he is too. At least twice on this track.
Officially, Kanye has released 3 songs off the upcoming album: “Only One,” “Wolves” with Sia and Vic Mensa, and “All Day” with Theophilus London and Allan Kingdom.
