14 DAY TRIAL // Kanye West has allowed his fiery temper, especially when it comes to dealing with the paparazzi, to get the best of him once more and thus land him in trouble. The rapper is now a suspect in an ongoing battery case, after he allegedly punched an 18-year-old man who hurled a racial slur at fiancée Kim Kardashian.
This wouldn’t be the first time that Kanye is accused of getting physical with someone for offenses caused or imagined, but, this time, it’s serious, TMZ hints.
The incident occurred outside a chiropractor’s office, as Kim was swarmed by paparazzi. One man, whose identity has not been revealed, offered to escort her inside to safety, while telling her not to mind the paparazzi who kept yelling all kinds of questions at her, in the hope of getting a reaction on camera.
In so doing, he used the N-word in reference to the paps, which didn’t sit well with Kim. She told him that it wasn’t ok to use the word, which infuriated the 18-year-old so much he turned on her, calling her a “[N-word] lover” and all kinds of other names, in a profanity-laden verbal attack.
Before stepping inside the doctor’s office, the report continues, Kim called Kanye and told him what had just happened, while also asking him to come pick her up. Kanye did just that, and then some on the side because he walked into the office and punched the living lights out of the guy.
“Witnesses say Kanye punched the guy and Kim screamed, ‘We have it all on tape.’ Sources say the massage therapist in the office separated the 2 men. Beverly Hills cops were called and the 18-year-old said he wanted to press charges,” TMZ reports.
“Kanye is now officially a suspect in a battery investigation and they want to interview him. We're also told the matter will be referred to the LA County DA for possible prosecution,” adds the same media outlet.
Kim has been active on Twitter in the past several hours, but she’s not said anything on the alleged attack, verbal or physical. Kanye West is also keeping mum on the topic, but we’ll keep you posted with details on the case.
