Video features a game avatar of the rapper, is relentless, super artsy

Kanye West is joining the long line of artists putting out explicit music videos for their singles. However, unlike Robin Thicke and Justin Timberlake, Kanye isn’t afraid of being the one to show plenty of skin, albeit of the CGI type.

Gawker has the video which, for decency’s sake, we won’t embed here. *Please note that it contains offensive language and at least one instance of images that might upset viewers.

The video for “Black Skinhead,” which features only a game avatar of Kanye rapping and dancing (and showing off his ripped abs) against a black screen, was uploaded on Kanye’s official website.

It was pulled shortly afterwards, with Gawker suggesting that Kanye might have heard the Internet laughing hysterically at his latest showing of artistry.

However, Slate disagrees: the video is powerful, relentless, aggressive, gorgeous.

I guess there’s only one way you can tell which is right: watch the video, and do drop me a line in the comments below to tell me what you thought of it.

Above is Kanye performing the song live on SNL.
