You'd think that Kanye West would know when to cut his losses and admit defeat, but you'd be wrong. Since Kanye is the proud owner of an ego the size of Jupiter, he wasn't going to just come out and admit he was wrong when he forced to stand up and shamed disabled people during his concert in Sydney or he wouldn't continue singing.

Instead, the singer chose to address the issue during another concert yesterday, and in his true fashion, he ranted about the incident, claiming that he was in fact the victim. He claims that he was once again misunderstood and that he was simply being “an artist.”

Kanye stops the concert, rants about how the media is out to demonize him

Sitting under a bright beam of light that seemed to mimic the light God shines from heaven, Kanye spent a good deal of time explaining to people in the audience, “his fans,” that he was not a bad guy, but the media was trying to paint him as one.

He calls the audience “intelligent people,” trying to appeal to their good graces, while seeming like your everyday guy on the street, “I'm a Christian man with a family. At my concerts, I make sure everyone is having a good time.”

One fan actually had to wave her prosthetic leg in the air to prove she couldn't stand up because Kanye was not letting up

The singer failed to mention that he actually singled out the persons not standing up during his concert, and that he encouraged the crowds to add further pressure on them by booing as loudly as possible. It became a very embarrassing and demeaning moment for one fan in the stands who literally had to wave her prosthetic leg in the air to show Kanye that she couldn't stand up.

That's just what a Christian man would do, according to Kanye – point out a person's flaws and embarrass him or her in front of thousands in the most public of venues, with a chance that the footage will be broadcast over the internet to millions.

The rapper concluded his long rant with a warning, “So all this demonizing me, it aint’ goin’ to work after a while. Pick a new target. Pick a new target. Because I’m not one of these [explicit] artists that you’re used to. You come at me, I’m going to take my platform and break this [explicit] down for real, intelligent people every night. And then, we’ll get back to the music (sic).”

You can watch the entire rant in the video below, but be warned, Kanye uses some strong language to get his point across to the crowds.
