14 DAY TRIAL // It has previously transpired that Kanye West was planning a secret wedding performance in which he was going to sing a never-before-heard song to his wife. Now it seems that he has other artists on his mind on his day of days.
Hollywoodlife reports that Kanye is a huge Mary J. Blige fan and he plans to reach out to the singer to book her for a wedding performance that is going to be as much for him as for his wife, Kim. And from her rich repertoire, Kanye prefers the emotional song “Everything” which is the front runner to being played at the Kanye-Kim wedding.
By now, everyone knows that Kanye's creative juices couldn't be stopped from flowing and so he is taking a very active role in the wedding preparation, proving that he's not like most men who prefer to just show up, wear a tuxedo and smile for the photos.
Kanye reportedly plans the “perfect” wedding and this can only be achieved with a Mary J. Blige soundtrack sung live at the event for the happy couple and their celebrity guests. And that is because Kim is also quite partial of the singer so Kanye thinks it would be a great surprise to have her singing live.
According to a source, “One of his favorite songs by her is ‘Everything.’hat song sums up, in every verse, his love for Kim. He wants that song to be sang at his wedding so he’s talking to Mary.”
Apparently, “Kim would drop dead if that happens. She too loves Mary and Kanye played that song for her when they first met over and over and over and over. Only fitting that he would have Mary officially sing it at the wedding,” adds the same source.
At the moment, it looks like mother Kris Jenner is in charge of the guest list and she's keeping a very tight lid on it, just because they've had troubles with leaks before and the Kardashians never give anything away unless they can make some money out of it.
Luckily, the same source can give a few hints as to who is going to make the list “It will be star-studded but nobody’s giving out specifics. Kris is in charge of the seating arrangements and the guest list so you know ain’t [expletive] getting out.”
While planning for the wedding is moving forward, the couple is still trying to resolve the trial from their leaked engagement proposal. Yesterday, it was revealed that they denied receiving compensation in the form of a generous donation to a charity and preferred to cash their money for themselves.
