14 DAY TRIAL // There has long been a rumor going on around in the tabloids, saying that Kim Kardashian and Kanye West don't see eye to eye on her family's famous reality series, which has made all the members of the Kardashian clan superstars.
The latest part of the rumor is that Kanye is pressuring his wife Kim into leaving the reality show, despite the fact that she's considered one of the biggest stars in the cast and the only reason many of the viewers tune in for Keeping Up with the Kardashians.
The reason for that is Kanye's reluctance to have his private life documented on television for millions to see. The first fights between the two came when their baby North was born and Kim wanted to show her on the reality series while Kanye opposed this move.
A source told The Sunday People that “While Kanye would never make Kim do something, he would rather she didn't star on the show. He wants to live his life in private and he just thinks Kim would be better off doing the same.”
The source continues, “She is gradually coming around to the same thinking. But it's a difficult one for her because most of her family rely on her being there selling her life to the cameras. It is very likely that she will bow out shortly, though the series is still such a massive hit.”
This brings into focus another rumor circling the Internet for some time now: the fact that Kanye and Kim's mother Kris can't stand each other's guts. Kris is known to be very controlling of her daughter's career and hence would rather lose a leg than have Kim leave the show.
The conflict of interests is likely putting a lot of pressure on Kim, who is now being forced to choose between husband and family. It remains to be seen with whom Kim will side, but early signs are that she will follow Kanye's advice and leave the show as soon as possible.
Kanye already has a backup plan for his famous wife, a career in fashion design, giving as an example Victoria Beckham, the former Spice Girl, who is now trying to make a name for herself by designing clothes.
Kim already has one clothing line out with her sisters Khloe and Kourtney, so it's very possible that once she leaves the show for good, she is going to make a full transition to a fashion designer. Whether her clothes are going to be successful or not, that's another issue altogether.
