The rapper wants to “uninvite” the media mogul because he's afraid of the attention

Before we get into the whole Oprah and Kanye feud, let's take a minute to talk about this “uninviting” concept. Basically, what that means is that the invitation has already been sent out, but now someone from the couple (cough, Kanye, cough) has had a change of heart and wants to “uninvite” the guest.

While we're not sure that is entirely possible, it's being reported by Hollywoodlife that Kanye no longer wants Oprah at his wedding to Kim Kardashian. Why? Because he thinks that Oprah is too famous and she might divert attention from the couple onto her.

As any narcissistic person out there will tell you, being the center of attention, especially during your wedding day, is an absolute must. In preparations for the May wedding in Paris, Kanye is all of sudden feeling threatened by Oprah and the attention she's getting wherever she goes.

An insider dishes out some details, “He really thinks Oprah’s going to steal the show and the guests will all be talking about her and what she’s wearing and trying to get their picture taken with her as opposed to being there, witnessing his marriage to Kim and celebrating them as a couple.”

“It’s that weird, crazy celebrity b.s. that these people have and Kanye’s guilty as charged,” continues the insider. “He’s just nervous and wants all eyes on him and Kim and doesn’t want to be outdone by anyone.”

This shouldn't come as a shock to anyone familiar with Kanye's antics, but the whole uninviting thing might be a bit too much even for him. How do you even tell a person they're not welcome at your wedding anymore? And it's not even a regular joe schmoe we're talking about here, but Her Highness, Lady O, also known as the Queen of Media.

This comes as a blow to Kim and Kanye's wedding as it was previously rumored that the other power couple from the entertainment industry, Jay Z and Beyonce, weren't so keen on attending the wedding because Beyonce thought it was “tacky.”

But apart from all this drama with the guests, the preparations for the big day are going on as scheduled, and the press is left to speculate on what exactly is going to happen during the event, that has been called a “concept wedding,” that is, a party with just the concept of a wedding.

We were told to expect something outrageous and over the top, but we'll only get to see it a year later on TV, as E! has the exclusive broadcasting rights and plans to make a 2-part special out of it. In return, they are picking up the tab on the entire event, and Kanye is said to be going all out, not sparing any expense.
