A few days ago, Kanye went to Cannes to talk about music and celebrities that endorse products on the market, and his first order of business during the conference was to have all the labels removed from the water bottles sitting in front of him on the table.

While you might wonder what he would demand a thing like that, it's not because he didn't particularly like the brand of water the organizers laid out for him but because he didn't want to give said brand free endorsement by being photographed in front of their bottles.

Yes, Kanye thinks about things like that because he's very picky about which products he promotes apparently. A source present at the scene described the entire affair, “Kanye said he wasn’t going to be photographed promoting a brand if he’s not being paid for it. Organizers had to scramble to rip off the labels before his session started.”

Page Six claims that this one just one of the outrageous demands that Kanye made during the event in which he spoke how brands used celebrities to promote their products, and which took place at the Palais des Festivals on Tuesday, June 16.

Also in that ceremony where he wouldn't relent to give his support to any brand of water that hadn't paid him before, he spoke about Samsung, confessing that even though his good friend Jay Z is a promoter and supporter, he isn't a fan at all of the electronics giant or its products.

He casually inserted the comment “I'm not a fan of Samsung, by the way” into the conversation. Don't worry, he has an explanation for that, and it's not because of his recent falling out with Jay Z.

“The reason I said I didn’t like Samsung is because throughout my entire life … I have to work with the No. 1, I can’t work with anyone but Jay Z, I can’t be with any girl but Kim because that’s the girl that I look at her pictures the most and get turned on the most. I am not going to represent any company except Louis Vuitton because that’s the best,” Kanye said, matter-of-factly.

While Samsung might not be on his list of favorites, he has spoken highly on many occasions about Steve Jobs, the late CEO of Apple, thus hinting that he's more a fan of their products rather than Samsung’s. As you can see, Kanye's preferences are linked with quality, design or affordability, simply with his obsession with being number one.

No telling what happens when said company is no longer number one. Good luck with that, Kanye!
