Kanye West has finally unveiled the fruits of his labor after teaming up with Adidas, on the first day of New York Fashion Week. The Yeezy for Adidas Originals event was broadcast live around the US for all the fans to check out the new clothes and shoes, so Kanye included an extra special treat.

Right at the 8:15-minute mark in the video below, a new track from Kanye’s upcoming album kicks in. It’s called “Wolves” and is a collaboration with Sia.

The video is the entire presentation, which, as you can see, was welcomed only with tepid applause. Wife Kim Kardashian was the first to give it a standing ovation, but not everyone in the audience followed suit.

As for the song, which will be included on the same album as “Only One,” a song written from the perspective of his late mother, who speaks lovingly about the grandchild she never got to meet, Kanye’s daughter with Kim, Nori, it’s just more of the same.

Kanye West seems to have developed a very unhealthy relationship with Autotune. He’s been using it on his records for years, but it was always with a purpose. On these 2 new tracks, he seems to do it indiscriminately and continuously, and for me at least, it’s too much to bear.

As of now, we still have no release date for the album, but it is probably safe to assume it will all sound like this.
