Rapper thrills fans with incendiary show filled with religious imagery

Seeing how his tour is called Yeezus, just like his most recent album, I doubt fans expected Kanye West to get up on stage and not show any kind of religious imagery. Even so, he’s managed to surprise once more, bringing “white Jesus” out on stage in Seattle the other night.

It happened right before Kanye launched into his hit “Jesus Walks,” with the rapper coming face to face with a Messiah-type of actor, who proclaimed he’d come to make the dead live again.

A photo from the concert is included above. There is also video available, but you can only see it on YouTube because *it contains strong language that might offend, so discretion is recommended.

“White Jesus, is that you? Oh, [expletive]!” Kanye asked. After the brief dialog, “Jesus” left and Kanye did what he does best: he rapped.

If you watch the video, you can see the crowd go wild from the first notes of the hit song. Safe to say, even when all this potentially offensive stuff Kanye does is gone, he remains one of the most appreciated rappers of the moment.
