14 DAY TRIAL // Thanks to the unique powers of the internet where, once you post something, you can never take it back, some diligent journalists have stumbled on a very disturbing fact: Kanye West had a passion for Kim Kardashian's sister Kourtney before he had a relationship with her.
The Daily Mail showcases Kanye's blog from 2008, where he used to post photos of women he thought attractive in a category named “Girl of the Week.” Sure, Kim is featured among those girls, presumably which Kanye fancied at the time, but then, months later, her sister Kourtney also appears.
Kanye was quite partial to the Kardashian sisters, at least two of them
Of course, Kanye went on to marry Kim in a lavish ceremony in Florence, Italy, but that doesn't erase the fact that Kanye also had the hots for Kim's sister at one point. The photo with Kim, posted on July 30, 2008, is captioned with a short description of the reality star.
“American stylist, apparel retailer, and television personality. She is best known for her social life, and her reality show ‘Keeping up with the Kardashians.’” Kanye doesn't fail to mention that Kim is in a relationship with Reggie Bush “In 2000, Kardashian married music producer Damon Thomas; their relationship ended in divorce in 2004. Currently she is dating NFL player Reggie Bush.”
Several months after he gushed for Kim, Kanye also pined for Kourtney
On May 4, 2009, guess who else appears under “Girl of the Week” category? None other than Kourtney Kardashian, in a sports bra and black pants, as part of a photo shoot for Maxim Magazine. It seems Kanye had a rough time deciding which sister to choose.
Also in that category Kanye chose to feature attractive women like Megan Fox, Kelly Brook, Paris Hilton and Miranda Kerr. Often, he would Photoshop speech bubbles next to their mouths that read “Where's Yeezy?” – cutting edge stuff back in 2008.
Kanye seemed to enjoy blogging as it offered him a platform to vent his frustrations as well as his passions back then. He writes candidly “I love blogging, duh! But one of the things I love the most is doing the ‘Where are you Yeezy’ (literally just kidding sort of!! Hahaha).”
He goes on to explain the concept of “Girl of the Week,” “I first choose the, what I call the cover photo... I know you might not believe this but I look for something not too trashy and iconic. Everything I do is about creating memorable, iconic imagery.”
Considering that Kanye is very jealous and constantly checks up on Kim, it's probably very bad for him that the press uncovered his crush for Kourtney Kardashian. Someone really has some explaining to do.
