Xbox Live is still the heaven of low price bits and pieces

Rare has announced that a Power Pack will soon be available for their Xbox 360 adventure Kameo: Elements of Power. We're talking about the game's fifth downloadable installment via the Xbox Live marketplace. In previous packs, Kameo herself received a closet full of Barbie implements, but this time her monster warriors got some cosmetic improvements through modified armor.

As far as gameplay enhancements go, the power pack pumps up the difficulty rating for six of the original game's levels to Expert mode. While the previous Kameo Co-Op Pack offered players a free patch that enables co-op via Xbox Live and System Link, this time we get two new multiplayer modes. With help from your ally, you have to beat the odds in a timed battle mode called Time Attack. On the other hand, Rune Battle mode is the way to fight against other players, rather than alongside them, in a race for hoarding the most runes.

When you get an outfit for all ten morphs, including a ninja, a cowgirl and a pirate, you're already talking about something that's a lot more fun. Besides, Kameo too has a new outfit and dresses up in a shiny green plastic outfit with yellow trimmings. Pricing information has not been revealed yet, but considering Rare's past transgressions, it looks like 200 points is the going rate for a fresh look. Rare used this price for the Winter Warrior Pack back in November, and more recently, Bethesda caught some flak for tagging this price on a pair of horse armor outfits.
