Samsung decides to withdraw its impending lawsuit from the court

Looks like the brief clash between Samsung and the South Korean Internet provider KT has reached its conclusion before things got too ugly.

The two ended up opposing one another when KT cut Internet access to the Apps available on Samsung Smart TVs.

About 250,000 sold TVs were affected and, needless to say, customers were not pleased, and neither was Samsung.

Even the Korea Communications Commission (KCC), an equivalent to the US FCC, began to get involved in the matter, and Samsung even prepared a lawsuit.

The negotiations between KT and Samsung are still ongoing, so the restored web access could be little more than a momentary truce.

Nevertheless, given that the lawsuit has been withdrawn, we will risk hoping that the talks don't have a chance to go down in flames anymore.
